255 more miles this week puts us over the halfway mark, with a total of 1,555 miles ridden. We are on the west bank of the Mississippi near Great River Bluffs State Park, 18 miles north of LaCrosse, Wis.
It is quite pretty out there, but the next stretch will be very hilly. Can't wait to make it to Madison.
Speaking of hilly, MapMyRide tells me we will collectively have climbed 2 1/2 Everests before this cross-country ride is over.
